Mark Joseph, President Northeastern Protection Service, is pleased to announce that Citadel Security and Investigations has merged with Northeastern effective March 7, 2011.

"As a result of this merger we are excited to welcome Mr. Darrell Smith, Citadel's former President, to our management team as the Manager, Special Projects", says Joseph.

Operating for the past 19 years as a professional security and investigation agency, Citadel was a natural choice to amalgamate with Northeastern. Hands-on management, specialized services and a progressive business model align the two companies in a similar approach to asset protection for their clients.

Established in 1983 Northeastern Protection Service is a one-stop-shop of protection products and personnel headquartered in Dartmouth NS with offices in Ontario and Newfoundland.

Northeastern hosted the second annual "Security Solutions" Trade Show in November, 2010 at the Brightwood Golf & Country Club in Dartmouth, NS, by invitation only.  This exciting and informative event showcases all of Northeastern's divisions and many of our partners.  In 2010 Northeastern was joined by representatives of Kantech, DSC, Tri-Ed Limited, RCI Rutherford Controls, Samsung Video, Armstrong Communications, Workplace Violations Hotline, and Eastern Fence, all of whom displayed their products and services and answered questions throughout the event. 

Northeastern has received extremely positive feedback from our clients and vendors regarding the quality and uniqueness of this trade show, and we will continue with this successful annual event at various venues in the Halifax Regional Municipality in the years to come!

The Better Business Bureau of the Maritime Provinces held their 6th annual Ethics Awards gala at the World Trade & Convention Centre in Halifax NS on Nov.24, 2010.  Northeastern was among 3 winners in separate categories that evening for the BBB "Ethics Award".  Accepting the award on behalf of Northeastern was Mark Joseph, President.
